School Cook (part-time)
St. Anthony Schools are a Catholic, co-educational PreK-12 school system in Effingham, IL that provides a learning environment steeped in tradition and committed to excellence in education. St. Anthony Schools are currently accepting applications for a School Cook.
The schools’ hot lunch program serves over 450 meals daily. This position is part time with hours from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm Monday-Friday. Responsibilities include serving food to students in addition to daily kitchen set-up and clean-up.
Eligible candidate should be an energetic self-starter, show pride of work, and have a positive history of experience. Qualified candidates must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs on a regular basis and stand in a single location for an extended period of time. Background check required.
This position can be combined with the Custodian or After School Program Aide to create a full-time position. Diocesan benefits would then apply and include health, dental, vision, and life insurance, retirement, paid vacation and holidays, and social security.
