School Cook – Part-Time
St. Anthony Grade School is seeking reliable and enthusiastic individuals to join our kitchen staff.
Job Description
As a part-time kitchen staff member, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our school’s food service program. Our hot lunch program serves over 450 meals daily. Your responsibilities will include:
- Serving meals to students and staff
- Assisting with food preparation, such as chopping, slicing, and mixing ingredients
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment
- Adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Food handler’s certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive and friendly demeanor
Hours
Hours are 11:00 am – 2:00 pm daily and follows the school schedule from August through May. Specific hours may vary based on school calendar and operational needs.
This position could be combined with the part-time After School Program Aide position to total 24-25 hours per week.
